Thank you for your interest in Appalachian Regional Healthcare’s (ARH) Scholars Award.

This is a scholarship program designed to help fund the cost of education for those interested in seeking Registered Nursing degrees or completing a Medical Technologist program. The award is currently only open to ARH employees and their immediate families. Depending on the course of study, the award will be tailored to meet individual financial needs. ARH will pay tuition directly to the school of choice. Most importantly, ARH will also provide each recipient a mentor to better ensure the successful completion of the program.

The application process for the ARH Scholars Award must be completed online using the form below. For consideration for the current session, the deadline for all applications is June 9, 2017.

The ARH Scholars Award program is not necessarily designed to cover the entire cost of study and awards will be provided based on need and individual achievement. Awards will be given over a 2-year period and will be applicable for Registered Nursing and Medical Technologist programs.

Awards will be announced before July 1, 2017 and recipients will be notified via registered mail. Legal documents will be provided detailing scholarship protocol and may include options for employment. We wish every applicant the best of luck in both their application for the ARH Scholars Award and their next exciting course of study.

Please CONTACT US with any additional questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you!

THE POINT SYSTEM

Awards will be determined on a “blind” basis (names will be removed for judging) and a point system outlined on the application will determine the scholarship winners. Applicants will have the ability to earn a total of 100 points.

  • School providing course of study
  • Names and relationship of two references
