The Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky (CEDIK) Scholarship is awarded to students in the Appalachian region pursuing a career in healthcare.

Thank you for your interest in the CEDIK Appalachian Health Career Scholarship .

The scholarship is for one year and the maximum amount for full time students is $2500 a semester.  Part time students are also eligible.  The deadline to apply is April 23.  The application, which can be downloaded by clicking the button on this page, gives you all the information on how to apply, as well as the application itself.  Please pass this along to anyone you know that is pursuing a career in healthcare!  list of counties, where applicants must live to apply.

The CEDIK scholarship committee will review all applications and send out award notices by July 1, 2018 . It is anticipated that full scholarships will be awarded.

Awardees: Those selected as recipients for the scholarship will be required to provide a progress report at the end of each semester. This update will include a short narrative describing their progress towards their degrees and the grades earned during the semester. The next semester of scholarship funding is contingent on the completion of this progress report, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher during each semester of scholarship funding.
