Employee Benefits – The Big 3

Our health plans, provided by Anthem, are structured on salary bands. This creates a flat rate for all employees within a particular pay scale. Our package offers two health plans the employee can choose from.

The Standard Health Plan has been the heart of the ARH Benefit Plan for years. With this plan, employees have access to the entire ARH Provider Network at little to no cost. Low co-pays, and affordable deductibles make this the plan of choice for most employees. For even more healthcare savings, employees have access to FSA accounts through VOYA as well as bill pay options with AblePay.

The High Deductible Health Plan is the newest addition to the ARH Benefit Package. This plan is the answer for our employees who work outside the ARH Provider Network. Our HDHP offers comfortable, monthly premiums paired with higher annual deductibles. Employees who select the HDHP also have access to Health Savings Accounts and Limited Purpose FSAs through VOYA.

VISION INSURANCE

Anthem also provides our ARH employees with vision insurance through their Blue Vision Plan. This plan offers minimal monthly premiums and low co-pays for the most common vision needs, and full access to the Blue Vision Provider Network.

DENTAL INSURANCE

ARH has worked with Delta Dental of KY to create a variety of dental plans that are sure to meet the needs of employees, whatever that may be.

  • The Low Plan covers the basic dental needs at the most economical monthly cost.
  • The Mid Plan covers the basic dental needs, with the addition of restorative procedures.
  • The HIGH Plan offers the most coverage, including the highest payment for orthodontics.

In addition to the big three, ARH offers employees access to a variety of additional insurances.

In addition to this extensive Employee Benefit Package, ARH also has an Employee Wellness Program designed to provide tools and initiatives toward healthier lifestyles. This includes access to smoking cessation programs, free gym memberships, healthy recipes, challenges and more. This ever-growing  program is intended to engage employees and promote healthy lifestyles.

Work-Life Balance/PTO

ARH provides a paid time off (PTO) program to all eligible employees which compiles available vacation, sick leave, holiday, and funeral time into one, easy to manage program. Available paid time off is accrued by eligible employees as follows:

Non-Union Team Members 

0-10 Years = 24 Days PTO
11 Years = 25 Days PTO
12 Years = 26 Days PTO
13 Years = 27 Days PTO
14 Years = 28 Days PTO
15 Years or More – 29 Days PTO
Sick Days = 4 Hours per pay period.

Union Contracts

USW Contract 
Less than 11 = 13 Days PTO
11 – 14 Years = 15.5 Days PTO
15 Years or More – 18 Days PTO
Sick Leave will be covered under the PTO Program.

Paintsville USW Contract 
1-4 Years = 10 Days PTO
5 – 9 Years = 15 Days PTO
15 Years or More – 20 Days PTO
Sick Days = 1 Sick Day per month after employee’s probationary period.

SEIU Contract 
1-4 Years = 10 Days PTO
5 – 9 Years = 15 Days PTO
15 Years or More – 20 Days PTO
Sick Days = 1 Sick Day per month after employee’s probationary period.

SUN RN Contract 
Less than 11 = 15 Days PTO
11 – 14 Years = 17.5 Days PTO
15 Years or More – 20 Days PTO
Sick Days First Year = 12 (PTO Supplemental) Bonus
7 Paid Holiday

Non-benefitted Option
