As the Designated Institutional Official for ARH’s Graduate Medical Education, I welcome you to our website. Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is committed to serving the patients of Appalachia in the many communities that we serve and beyond. It is our mission to train physicians who are thoroughly versed in the litany of problems faced by the Appalachian population. We believe our patients deserve the highest level of care available, and we intend to train Residents to provide nothing short of this level of care, doing so with compassion and empathy.
